Redraw Rod is manufactured in five thousand-pound coils that are produced by drawing aluminum rod through a series of dies to obtain the desired thickness. Redraw rod is used in the manufacturing of electrical wire and various types of cable, as well as for deoxidizing steel.
Our aluminum rod is produced in diameters of .375 & .470 inches in alloys 1100, 1350, & 8176 for use in the electrical and mechanical markets.
